Coach Education Session with Lorne Watson
Coaches Education Session
Led by Lorne Watson – Delta United Soccer Academy
April 18 | 12:00–2:00 PM | Hannahville Ice & Turf
This Coaches Education Session is designed for parents who are signing up to volunteer coach or support our soccer program and want guidance before the season begins.
Led by Lorne Watson of the Delta United Soccer Academy, this instructional practice will provide an overview of program expectations, coaching guidelines, and session structure. Parents will gain practical tools, simple practice ideas, and a clear understanding of how to create a fun, developmentally appropriate environment for young players.
This session is especially geared toward parents who are eager to help but may not have prior soccer experience or may be unsure where to start. No prior experience is necessary.
Parents are encouraged to bring their child players to assist with demonstrations and sample practice activities. This hands-on format will allow volunteers to see exactly how sessions will run and how they can confidently support players throughout the season.
If you are interested in attending, please RSVP to [email protected].
We look forward to building a strong and supportive coaching team this season! ⚽
