Flag Football 2025

For Kids in Grades 1st – 6th

Flag Football is back, and we’re ready for another exciting season! This program is designed to teach kids the fundamentals of football in a fun and team-oriented environment. Players will learn how to throw and catch properly, develop a better understanding of the game’s rules and tactics, and experience the thrill of competition on game day!

League Divisions

🔹 1st & 2nd Grade
🔹 3rd & 4th Grade
🔹 5th & 6th Grade

Our goal is to form 4 teams per age group, with 12-16 players per team. Each team will need at least 2 coaches, and we are looking for volunteers to help make this program a success! Volunteers who complete the application process and are approved will receive a program discount as a token of our appreciation.

Key Dates & Location

📍 Location: YMCA Field (2001 North Lincoln Road, Escanaba, MI)

📅 Assessment Day: September 6, 2025

• 1st & 2nd Grade: Time TBD
• 3rd & 4th Grade: Time TBD
• 5th & 6th Grade: Time TBD

We highly encourage all players to attend the Assessment Day to help our staff create balanced teams!

📅 Practices: Twice Weekly starting the Week of September 8th (Times TBD – Set by Coaches)

📅 Game Days: Saturdays, September 20 – October 18
🕘 Games Schedule will be distributed during the first week of practice.
