Get your rhythm on with this adult tap dancing class that will have you making music with your feet!. Taught by Miss Donna, of Donna’s School of Dance, this class is designed for students who have never tap danced before or have less than one year of experience. You will learn fundamental rhythm concepts, proper body alignment, and the basic steps like shuffles, flaps, and ball changes.

Tap dancing provides many health benefits including:

  • Improved cardiovascular fitness
  • Increased strength (legs, core)
  • Improved balance and coordination.

Tap dancing can also boost memory, focus, and mood through creative, rhythmic movement that’s low-impact but high-energy. It’s like learning an instrument with your feet, building cognitive skills, and providing a joyful outlet for self-expression.

Attire & Shoes:
Wear comfortable clothing and supportive, hard-bottomed shoes. Tap shoes are encouraged for the best sound but not required; sneakers or flats are perfectly fine.
