Fitness Center Orientations for Youth and Adults
This orientation is designed to help participants feel confident, safe, and comfortable using the Fitness Center. Participants will receive an overview of fitness center policies, proper equipment use, and general gym etiquette. Our staff will also provide guidance on safe exercise practices and answer any questions.
Requirements:
- Participants must be active YMCA members
- Youth participants must be 12 years of age or older
- Youth participants ages 12-15 must attend an orientation to utilize the fitness center
- Youth ages 12–14 must follow YMCA supervision guidelines to be reviewed during orientation
This orientation helps ensure a positive, safe, and welcoming experience for everyone in the Fitness Center.
